Install The Banner Table
On iPhone, open this site in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, turn on Open as Web App, and tap Add.
For normal users, favorites, cooking history, shopping items, Kitchen Mode, recently viewed recipes, and My Recipes stay on that device. When Admin is signed in, the admin's personal data syncs privately across signed-in admin devices. Active countdown timers remain device-local. The official master library for The Banner Table syncs from the cloud when you are online and keeps an offline copy.
Keep Screen Awake: recipe and Kitchen Mode screens request a screen wake lock when enabled. iOS may release it when you leave the app; The Banner Table requests it again when you return.
Recipe importing: website links use structured recipe data when available. Pasted text and recipe-card photos can use AI to create an editable draft. Always review imported quantities before cooking.
Nutrition: nutrition values are estimates based on the written recipe and assumed servings. Imported recipes can calculate an estimate during review. Brands, optional ingredients, trimming and actual portions can change the numbers.
Plan & Pantry: meal plans, pantry items, What Can I Make? inputs, ratings, and personal cooking notes are private. They stay local for normal users and sync only for Admin while signed in. Marking a planned meal as made feeds the same Made It history used by Recently Made and cooking stats.
US / Metric: ingredient and temperature conversions are convenience conversions. Volume-to-volume and weight-to-weight conversions do not attempt ingredient-specific density conversions.
